JoAnn Laible, McKee O’Hern, age 75, of Littleton, Colorado died
Thursday, February 5, 2009 at the Hospice of St. John in Lakewood,
CO. Survivors include husband James, Littleton, CO, daughter,
Pamela Jo Reed, Thedford, NE, son, Robert M. McKee, Mt. Airy, NC
and daughter, Martha McKee Hayden, Wila, Switzerland, sister Erma
Wright, Springfield, IL, five grandchildren and two great grand
children. She is preceded in death by husband, John. R. McKee,
sister, Mildred Peabody and brother, Vernon Laible.
Graduate of Monmouth College, Monmouth, IL, member of Alpha Xi
Delta Fraternity. Taught school in Galesburg School District,
Galesburg, IL. Retired in 1988.
A memorial service will be held Friday, February 20, 2pm at the
Pinnacle at Highline Clubhouse, 1682 West Canal Circle, Littleton,
CO. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ataxia
Foundation, (www.ataxia.org), 2600 Fernbrook Lane, Suite 119,
Minneapolis MN 55447 for JoAnn’s family who have suffered so much
from this disease or make a gift to the American Cancer Society
(www.cancer.org).
