The Fort Lupton Public Works Department hosted its annual Spring Clean-Up Day Saturday, April 28.

Local residents could bring any unwanted household items including furniture, electronics, tires and yard debris to the public works shop on 12th Street.

Fort Lupton resident Saul Chavez said he has participated in the city’s clean-ups every year. The clean up is, “very, very good for us,” especially being able to drop off tree shrubs, Chavez said.

The 2018 Spring Clean Up Day is one of two events for residents.

In case you missed this season’s clean-up day, the 2018 Fall Clean Up will be Sept. 22. For more information on services provided, including vendor information, call 303-857-6694 or go online at www.fortlupton.org/454/Clean-Up-Days.
