Robert C. Lyska, 46, of Brighton, passed away March 4. Born March 8, 1970, in Hacienda Heights, Calif., to Leonard and Carol (Loggins) Lyska, he graduated from Los Altos High School in Los Altos, Calif., and married Dawn Barendsen May 18, 1996, in Aurora.
Robert owned and operated Lyska’s Tile & Stone Works in Brighton for the last 30 years and lived in Brighton for the last 12 years. In his free time, he loved to fish, hunt, camp and celebrate life. He lived each day to the fullest and enjoyed the fruits of his labors. He truly loved spending time and being involved with his family.
Survivors include his mother, Carol Holmes, of Commerce City; his wife, of Brighton; three children, Rob Jr., Joe and Sara, of Brighton; and two brothers, Jeff (Rebecca) Lyska and Mike (Elizabeth) Lyska, of Commerce City.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 15, at the Brighton United Methodist Church, 625 S. Eighth Ave., Brighton.
