Witnesses reported a hit-and-run accident to Englewood police that happened in the 100 block of Englewood Parkway about 5:10 p.m. June 15. Officers investigated and were able to locate the vehicle involved in the accident in the 3200 block of South Sherman Street.
Investigators located a 55-year-old man who was driving the vehicle and arrested him for the hit-and-run and for DUI. Officers also found the suspect had cocaine in his possession.
He was taken to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Detention Facility and could face a number of charges related to the case.
