Water conservation rebates and free programs are being offered to Thornton water customers this year.
Residents can get a WaterSense toilet, high-efficiency clothes washer, smart irrigation controller and rain sensor rebates ranging from $25 to $400. Customers that qualify for the Thornton Cares Water Assistance Program can get up to two WaterSense toilets installed free.
Home and sprinkler water use consultations provide one-on-one education on how to improve water efficiency at home. If the sprinkler system qualifies, customers can opt to have high-efficiency rotary nozzles installed in spray zones.
