Leslie “Les” Bartlett, 87, of Brighton, passed away April 24 at his home. He was born June 28, 1928, in Rexford, Kan., to Wilbur and Zelma (Cogdill) Bartlett.
Les served in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged Oct. 26, 1952. He worked as an auto mechanic for most of his life along with running a family custom harvesting business. He enjoyed painting in his spare time and took great pride in his car collection.
Les is survived by his wife, Lois; two sons, Barry (Barbara) Bartlett and Brian (Teressa) Bartlett; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Bruce.
A celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 13, at Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 W. 28th St., Greeley.
