We have heard the story of how, prior to Easter, Jesus spent fourty days and nights alone out in the desert. As the story goes, the devil attempted to lead Jesus into worlly temptations taht were evil and not in favor of him and God; and so Jesus shunned the devil.
For those days on the desert, and all alone with God, one can only imagine what their coversations may have been like. Below is a fun and educational quiz I thought of to play, about the things the two of them may have discussed. the game is called, “putting all of your eggs in two baskets.”
The first basket is for the good eggs (example would be the word “angel”). The second basket is for the bad eggs (an example would be lying).
Play the game Easter morning, if possible — it’s fun for the whole family!
2. Use this as a guide, and get some notebook paper — so others can play along!
3. Set a timer for five minutes and see how many you can complete in that time.
4. Are you ready?
5. Get set … Go!
EXAMPLE:
Good Eggs
1. Angel
2. Love
3. ??????
Bad Eggs
1. Lying
2. Hate
3. ????
Congratulations, young and old! It was a great hunt! Hope you all came up with more good eggs than bad! Keep up the faith, and have a very Happy Easter!
