Rose Chunn, 77, of Brighton entered into rest Feb. 20. She was born Jan. 19, 1939, in La Prior, Texas, to Pablo and Feliz Valenzuela. On June 17, 1961, she married the love of her life, Tony Chunn. Together they raised four children.
Rose is survived by her loving husband; sons, Steve (Norma) Chunn, and Greg Chunn; a daughter, Kathy (Tom) Connell; sisters, Alice Trujillo, Bertha (Ray) Holland, Gloria Valenzuela and Linda (Glen) Schissler; brothers: Paul (Francis) Valenzuela, Jasinto (Julie) Valenzuela and Rick (Liz) Valenzuela; grandchildren, Jason, Keith, Daniel and Nicole; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Roland Chunn; brothers, Joe Valenzuela, Steve Valenzuela and Bob Valenzuela; and a sister, Ellen Valenzuela.
A celebration of life service was Feb. 27 at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton, which handled the arrangements.
