1) Democratic leadership style
2) The only fulltime council member and will be a fulltime mayor. My education, business background and life experiences enable me to best represent Federal Heights.
3) Rebuilding harmony and respect among council members. Improving the appearance of the city. Bringing new businesses into the city.
4) This significant Adams County Long Range Strategic Planning is led by Director Abel Montoya and is being studied with the intent to have a plan by the end of 2016. While it is some distance away from Federal Heights, as this process becomes more clear, I will work to leverage our opportunities to extend those benefits into Federal Heights.
5) I am disappointed that there are currently significant problems with the evolving marijuana industry. I am confident, as these issues are addressed and resolved, as more information becomes available, and as additional states legalize marijuana, it will become a positive, lucrative industry for our dity. The issue of recreational marijuana should be revisited after most of the existing problems have been resolved.
