WELD COUNTY — The Weld County board of commissioners announced that the Weld County Code is now available online through Municode.
The Weld County Code has always been on the county website, but this new vendor makes accessing and searching the code much easier, according to a press release from commissioners. Users will now have the ability to download, email, print, share on social media and compare modified code versions.
Municode is the nation’s largest codifier, and provides more than 3,100 online codes throughout the U.S., while also allowing site visitors to browse the Code Library for a specific state, county or municipality.
“Municode is a much more user-friendly website that can be viewed on any desktop, tablet or mobile device,” said Commissioner Chairwoman Barbara Kirkmeyer. “The accessibility of the code will be very useful for Weld County residents and businesses, and we hope they use it as a resource to research county information.”
The online version of the Weld County Code is the official version for content and reference purposes. However, the Code of Ordinances and/or any other documents that appear on Municode may not reflect the most current legislation adopted by Weld County. Changes to the code usually take two weeks to be updated online.
Questions regarding the content of the Weld County Code should be referred to board clerk Esther Gesick, at 970-336-7215, ext. 4226.
