On July 7, Michael Dean passed away after a long fight with illness. He is survived by his caring wife, Jill Dean; and three children Aspen Dean, Josh Dean and Kelsey Dean (19); grandson Kyle Dean; his mother, Mable Tjaden; a half-brother; three, half-sisters, Rhonda Piera, Jerry Tjaden and Alana Whitiny; and several nieces and nephews.
He was very loving, caring, and full of life. He was a son, husband, father, grandfather and friend. After graduating high school, he served in the Navy, then worked in the oilfield and traveling the country driving truck, before becoming disabled and a stay-at-home father. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and all to whom he brought joy and happiness.
Upon his request, no services took place. Michael said his goodbyes at a kicking-the-bucket party in April. Another celebration of his life is in the works. Donations may be sent to P.O. Box 652, Brighton, 80601.
