For people who want to buy cute baby chicks, but may not know how to take care of them, free workshops are being offered at Colorado Agricultural Leadership Foundation’s agricultural barn, 2330 S. I-25, Castle Rock.
Douglas County CSU Extension Service and Douglas County Farm Bureau want to equip people with knowledge on everything from zoning regulations, to finding the right coop, feeding, harvesting eggs and food safety.
The classes are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 22 and April 5. For more information, call 303-688-1026 or go to www.thecalf.org.
