Hundreds of people descended on The Wildlife Experience March 1 for the latest installment of Lauren’s Live Animals, this one featuring a pair of wolves from Woodland Park-based Colorado Wolf Adventures.
The long lines were worth the wait since kids were allowed to get up close and personal with “Ghost” and “Waya” to have their picture taken.
Both members and non-members of the museum traveled from all over the region in snowy weather for the event. Visitors also watched a dog-sledding demonstration and learned about huskies, border collies and police K9s.
