Nicholas M. Ortega, 22, of Thornton, passed away Feb. 2, 2014. He was born Jan. 1, 1992, in Westminster, and graduated from Northglenn High School in 2010.
Nick is survived by his parents, Albert and Kristine Ortega, Jr.; brother, Joseph Ortega, of Denver; sister, Trinity Ortega, of Greeley; and numerous cousins, among others.
Rosary service was held Sunday, Feb. 9, at Our Lady of Visitation, 2531 W. 65th Place in Denver. Mass of Christian Burial was Monday, Feb. 10, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 7595 N. Federal Blvd. in Westminster. Interment followed at Elmwood Cemetery.
