Jacob Foos, 97, of Brighton, Colorado, passed away Jan. 28, 2014. He was born June 22, 1916, in Gill, to Peter and Elizabeth Miller Foos. Jacob married Ruth Boggess on May 18, 1944. She preceded him in death Nov. 26, 2004.
Jacob is survived by his two children, Diana R. (Dan) Pollard, of Brighton; Larry J. (Nancy) Foos, of Thornton; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mary Moore.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Herbert and Herman Foos.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Area “A”, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver.
