Lee E. Philpott, 75, of Fort Lupton since 1979, died on Jan. 17, 2014, in Fort Lupton. He was born Oct. 24, 1938, in Brighton, to Orville L. and Ila M. (Wayt) Philpott.
Survivors include his wife, Joan; daughters, Terry L. (Larry) McCorkle, of Ft. Lupton, and Lesa A. (Michael) Waughop, of Williamsburg, Iowa; son, Rick (Renee), of Ft. Lupton; brothers Bob, of Brighton, and Dean (Darlene), of Denver; sister, Maxine (Charles) Sharrai, of Freemont, Neb.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held at a later date. Tabor-Rice Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
