Elmer D. Lane, 84, of Brighton, passed away June 10, 2012, in Brighton.
He was born June 13, 1927, in Hilltop, to George and Effie (Mitchler) Lane. He graduated from high school in Breckenridge in 1947 and married Dorothy Danford April 5, 1953, in Littleton.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Lane, of Brighton; Cliff, Delora, Cody and Tyler Lane of Berthoud; twin brother Delmer Lane and wife Loretta, of Vernal, Utah; and brother Leland Sheard, of Greeley; and multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents, brothers and a sister.
A memorial service is set for 2 p.m. Thursday, June 14, at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton, which is handling the arrangements.
