Students and parents in Littleton High School’s International
Baccalaureate Diploma Program will present a panel discussion about
their IB experiences during the school’s annual IB Information
Night at 7 p.m. Nov. 2 in the school theater.
LHS has been an IB school since 1997 and was again this year
named one of America’s Best High Schools by Newsweek magazine.
Denver’s 5280 magazine has twice recognized LHS as one of Denver’s
Top High Schools. Littleton’s IB diploma rate is 93 percent, far
outpacing the diploma rate for schools throughout the nation and
around the globe.
International Baccalaureate is the most rigorous high school
curriculum in the world and is, currently, offered in more than
2,000 high schools and 141 countries.
Supporting the qualities of an IB Learner (caring, balanced,
principled, inquiring, knowledgeable, reflective, risk-taking,
open-minded, communicative, thinking), Littleton has a diverse and
accepting community of students who enroll from more than 40 Denver
metro-area middle schools.
In addition to the student and parent panel discussion, IB
Information Night will present an overview of the unique IB
components, course sequence, and graduation requirements.
Littleton High School is at 199 E. Littleton Blvd., Littleton.
