City Council cancels meeting to make way for Rocky Flats session

Members of the City Council agreed to cancel its Oct. 13 meeting so that they and Golden residents could instead attend a public meeting hosted by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service concerning the Rocky Flats right of way. The service will conduct a public meeting 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, at the Westminster City Park Recreation Center, 10455 Sheridan Blvd. The first part of the meeting will be a presentation by refuge staff, followed by a public-comment period.
