Talented kids from across the country got a first-hand look at
entrepreneurship from someone who once walked in their own
shoes.

The kids are national winners of the Boys & Girls Clubs of
America Digital Arts Festival. Their host, businessman Tim Sheahan
who owns EmbroidMe Denver South, was himself a Boys & Girls
Clubs kid. He later becoming president and CEO of Boys & Girls
Clubs of Metro Denver.

Sheahan still consults with BGCA and invited the winners to his
Littleton store giving them a first hand look at running a business
from production to marketing. Technology, and its applications are
one of many programs offered by Boys & Girls Clubs across the
country.

While visiting EmbroidMe Denver South, the kids had an
opportunity to produce their own custom logo shirts from original
design work on computers, through the printing and embroiding
process. Sheahan also talked about the hard work involved in going
out and finding customers to market to.
