Construction work on sidewalks, curbs and gutters on Kuner Road between Egbert and Southern streets continues for another week or so.
Kuner Road will be closed during the project. Detours will be in place, and officials say motorists should use detours.

Construction crews will continue their paving work from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the north and southbound sides of U.S. Highway 85/Kuner Road between Bromley Lane and Platte River Boulevard. Single lanes will be closed, and delays are possible. The project is expected to continue through the end of the month.
The Fourth Avenue overlay project should be finished by Sept. 16. The second of two phases extends from Bridge to Mather streets from Sept. 6 to Sept. 16. This part includes a total reconstruction of the road.
Partial closures may continue through the end of September. Motorists should plan on using alternate routes during daylight construction work.
