A 63-year-old woman reported to police March 30 that someone stole her sweat jacket.
The woman told police that the jacket disappeared sometime between 2:30 and 3 p.m., March 24 from her home in the 300 block of Bush Street. She said a friend came over the same day and they planned to run errands. She thought the jacket was too heavy, took it off and put it on the back of a chair and took a different jacket instead.
When they returned, the jacket was nowhere to be found. She said she confronted her friend, who she said denied taking the jacket. She said her friend, 40, offered to help look for the jacket but she forbade her from entering the home.
Police have no suspects or leads in the theft.
