A Platteville man wanting to get back together with his girlfriend allegedly threatened his ex’s brother.
       The 41-year-old brother of the ex-girlfriend told police March 10 that the man called him earlier in the week and asked for helping getting back together with the woman. He said if he did not help him, “something bad would happen and he’d get cut up.
       The man denied the threats and indicated he’d been calling the brother’s house – where the woman was staying – to see about getting his stuff back and to see about the status of their relationship.
       He was advised to stop calling. Police took no further action in the case.
