Angela and William Briggs, of Brighton, announce the birth of their son, James Briggs.
    James was born March 12, 2011, at Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton. He weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces.
    James’ grandparents are James Donald Parsons, of Fort Smith, Ark., Gudrun Durmon, of Lake City, and Charlotte McCune, of Farmington, N.M. His great-grandparents are Jean Parsons, of Fort Smith, Ark., and Rosabell and Robert Lawson, of Farmington, N.M.
    James joins brother Jackson, 2, at home.
