BRUNSWICK, VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA – Terry Lynn Cruz, who trains at the Strictly Boxing Gym in downtown Brighton, lost a 10-round decision to Susie ‘Q’ Ramadan for the vacant IBF bantamweight world title.
“It was close,” coach Tom Chmielewski said. “It went all 10 rounds, and she lost by decision.  She could have beat this girl.  We mentioned a rematch, and they were open to it.  We’ll see if it happens.”
Negotiations are under way for a fight in Argentina. Nothing has been signed yet, Chmielewski said.
Cruz, who has fought since 1999, has held five title belts. Her record is 17-6-2.
