Mark Miller, 41, of Fort Lupton, died Aug. 6, 2010, at his home after a short battle with ALS (Lou Gehrigs Disease).

Mark was born Nov. 12, 1968, to David Miller and Marlene (Frenzen) Tucker in Longmont. He was a lifelong resident of the Longmont area and a 1987 graduate of Longmont High School.

As a young man, Mark enjoyed bull riding, 4-H and FFA. Mark married the love of his life, Monique Mallory, in 1999. It is with Monique that they were able to share their love for the Western way of life. Mark and Monique have one daughter, McKenzie, 10, a great joy in their life. The past several years Mark could either be found at a Little Britches Rodeo cheering on McKenzie, helping other children in the rodeo arena, or in the arena fine tuning his own roping skills for the next jackpot. It is through these passions that Mark developed many strong and lasting friendships. Mark had the unique ability to make a friend anywhere he went and he always had a good story to tell. He was a kind, gentle man and was always the first to help others. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends.

Mark is survived by his wife; his daughter; mother and stepfather, Marlene and Richard Tucker; grandmother, Maxine Frenzen; in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many, many friends.

Mark was preceded in death by his father; brother, Lon Miller; grandfathers, Jack Frenzen and Clifford Miller; and grandmothers, Faye Miller and Wilma Miller.

A memorial service is at 10:30 a.m., Aug. 11, at Rocky Mountain Christian Church’s Frederick campus. Visit www.rmcc.org for directions. Cremation has taken place at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory. Inurnment will be at Foothills Gardens of Memory.
