Aug. 2 and 6
Spellbinders are seasoned volunteers who stay young at heart by
telling stories to children in Douglas County Schools. They offer
children the unique opportunity to connect with another generation
and broaden their perspectives. Spellbinders help create an
important sense of community and impart character to our future
leaders. Adults age 50 and over can train to become a Spellbinder
by attending two sessions from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 2 and from 9
a.m. to noon Aug. 6 at Philip S. Miller Library. Registration is
required. To book your spot, contact Priscilla Queen at
303-688-7626 or e-mail pqueen@dclibraries.org.
