Police, open up?
7:27 p.m., April 29, 1600 block of Vance Street
A man called police because he believed he was kicked out of his apartment by two men pretending to be police officers. The man said he and his girlfriend had been fighting and she was drunk. She said she called police and he would be in trouble. Two men in plain clothes arrived and said they were undercover police officers. They searched the man and told him he had to leave. The two men were not police, but rather friends of the woman. An actual investigation is still under way.
