The fair is open to everyone and offers activities and information for all ages. There will be family games, health screenings, and vendor booths with health, wellness and nutrition information and giveaways.

The Brighton Police Department will be on hand with the physical agility test each officer candidate has to complete to become a police officer. See if you have what it takes to complete the obstacle course in qualifying time. Supper Solutions will offer quick, healthy dinner ideas. Car seat checks will be offered and area recreation centers will be present to share information on available programs. The West Ridge Wild Cats jump rope team will perform.

Platte Valley Medical Center will provide seasonal and H1N1 shots at the fair for free. While this is open to all, PVMC is providing a prime opportunity for any youngsters from six months to 10 years old who haven’t received a second vaccination to do so on Saturday.

Sponsored by the 27J Wellness Committee, the goal of the event is to promote healthy living for all and to continue the group’s wellness activities that promote health and fitness all year through the schools.
