Elizabeth High School students could possibly see a few changes
in the future in the school system. At this point all changes are
only at the discussion level.
“I am just throwing ideas out there right now,” said Greg
Wieman, principal of the Elizabeth High School. “We are only
testing the waters.”
Some of the changes proposed by Wieman include general items
such as decreased graduation requirement and switching to a
trimester schedule. Wieman said before any formal changes will
made, administration and staff will have input as to whether or not
any changes are viable.
“The school board and the superintendent will decide if this is
the way we want to go,” he said. “But I am not to the point where I
have a sound product.”
Wieman said the proposed changes are based on improving
achievement and making the school better. For questions contact
