The Parker Hawks 9AA baseball team gathers after finishing
second in the Dakota Ridge March Madness tournament March 14-15 in
Lakewood. The Hawks made it to the championship game and finished
one win away from getting an invitation to the state tournament in
July. Playing outside of league play and up a division, the 9AA
Parker Hawks were led by pitchers Brandon Chasse and Andrew
Gardner, with Max Kilcoyne clearing the bases with a triple and
Tanner Leebelt with his first home run as an inside the park grand
slam. “Having never played kid pitch or competing at this level,
our boys did exceedingly well,” coach Michael Kilcoyne said.  “This
was a great four-game warm up for our boys, jamming a month’s worth
of games into two days will prepare our boys well for league play.”
