The Douglas-Elbert Realtor Association and The Metro Denver
Realtor Foundation, a nonprofit organization, are partnering on the
2009 Helping Hands Project, which will help a needy individual or
family with home repair to improve their quality of life.
The groups seeks individuals and families in Douglas and Elbert
counties in need of home improvements such as yard work, painting,
and small construction projects not requiring permits. Real estate
agents, volunteers and professionals with various skills and
talents will perform the repairs to the home.
Nomination forms are available at www.derarealtors.com.
All nominations must be in by March 8. After personal
interviews, one recipient will be chosen by March 15. The home
improvement event will take place June 25-26.
