Travis Buck Griffin, 31, of Parker, CO,passed away on Sunday,
February 1, 2009 in Elbert County.
Travis attended Douglas County High School. He and his wife,
Krista, own and operate a local excavating company, Griff Grading
and Excavating. He enjoyed traveling, camping and riding his Harley
with his beloved wife.
He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Krista Black Griffin; his
parents Jerry and Kathy Griffin, of Sedalia; sisters, Betsy (Joe)
O’Brien, Cherri (Dan) Schroeder, Sueann Griffin, Katie Griffin and
Annie (Cody) Fox; his in-laws, Kenny and Sandy Black;
sister-in-law, Sarah (Ladd) Fischer and brother-in-law, Kevin
(Katie) Black; nieces and nephews, Kelsey, Kasey and Kassidy
O’Brien, Becky and Jeremy Shroeder, Devin and Jarred Griffin,
Kenzie, Sidney and Hayden Fox, and Ainsley and Bailey Fischer.
Travis was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry.
A Catholic Mass was held at Our Lady of Visitation, Elizabeth,
CO. A memorial service was held in Kiowa, CO. Memorial
contributions may be made to the Castle Rock Bank, 501 Wilcox St.,
Castle Rock, CO 80104. Krista will determine the charity she wishes
to donate in Travis’ name.
