The Douglas County Charter Schools are working to collect hats
and gloves to help people in Colorado stay warm this winter.
The charter schools will serve as drop-off sites for donations
from the community. Parker Core Knowledge Charter School in Parker,
Challenge to Excellence in Parker, Academy Charter School in Castle
Rock, Platte River Academy Charter School in Highlands Ranch, and
American Academy Charter School in Lone Tree are all established
drop-off locations where the community can bring any hats, gloves
and mittens they wish to donate. Donations should be either new or
gently used, and can be dropped off in the front office of
participating schools.
