The Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch and the
Signature Centre in Golden and were among seven projects recognized
for engineering innovations by the American Council of Engineering
Companies of Colorado. The RMH Group received an excellence award
for Valor Christian High School, the first private high school in
the state to receive LEED certification. MKK Consulting Engineers
Inc. received top honors for the mechanical systems engineering of
Golden’s Signature Centre, the first building of its kind to
achieve LEED Platinum certification. Twenty-four Colorado
engineering firms submitted innovative engineering projects to the
American Council of Engineering Companies of Colorado for its 2009
Colorado Engineering Excellence Awards program Nov. 3 at the
historic Brown Palace Hotel.
