The Monument Police Department, in conjunction with the
Tri-Lakes Monument Fire Department, is in need of toys for the
third annual Tri-Lakes-area Santa-on Patrol. Toys may be dropped
off at either the Monument Police Department 154 North Washington
Street or the Tri-Lakes Monument Fire Department 18650 Highway 105.
When you drop off toys make sure to mention that they are for
“Santa on Patrol.”
Please help Santa and his Elves bring joy to the many children
and families that are in need. Shirk has been assisting Santa for
over 20 years through the Santa-on Patrol project.
On Dec. 22, Shirk, acting as a duly sworn-in and authorized
Santa Assistant, with uniform to match, will be delivering toys and
joys to many of the children in the Tri-Lakes area. Instead of a
red-nosed Rudolph pulling a sleigh, Shirk will be driving a police
car with red lights and siren, followed by fire engines being
driven by the Tri-Lakes Monument Fire Department Elves. If you hear
loud noises look out your window as it may be Santa and his Elves
visiting your neighborhood.
If you have any questions or need any more information please
contact Shirk, Santa Assistant, on his elf phone at
719-884-8032.
