Whoever said, “Three’s a crowd,” didn’t know the three partners of RE/MAX Professionals, Inc. Thanks to Alan J. Smith, Brad Whitehouse and Mike Burns, the 23-year-old business once owned by the late Tom Schack, and his partners Paul Motzkus and Al Smith (no relation to Alan J. Smith) is as strong as ever.
“We’re only the second generation to own the business,” Smith said. “It was started by three legendary real estate agents from the ground up. What’s great is the fact that we are able to keep the momentum going because we have the best in the business-from the agents to the leadership team. It’s always been our intent to give the best quality service possible and offer personal one-on-one service to our clients across the board.”
In addition to their ambition and dedication to the business, all three men are top listing and selling agents and specialize in residential sales throughout the metro-Denver area. They know personally what it takes to attract top quality agents and to empower these agents with the best tools, technology and training available. The tools and technology include a new web site (homesbythepros.com), intranet, wireless technology throughout all of their offices and access to the RE/MAX Satellite Network-a state of the art training tool for RE/MAX REALTORS®.
The new owners of RE/MAX Professionals, Inc., also continue to support the involvement of their five offices in a variety of youth activities, local schools and their sponsorship in the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the Children’s Miracle Network. “There are more books in local schools and about 35 youth sport teams being sponsored by our offices,” says Burns, “And we want to continue to see that happening.” According to the new owners, ”The motivation for empowering our agents, staff and management team as well as giving to the community is to meet the needs and dreams of the buyers and sellers who place their trust in us.”
The previous owners built what the current owners believe is more than just a real estate company; they built a family. When the company was founded there were only the three owners, an administrative assistant and one other agent. Today the company has five offices, around 250 agents and is still growing. The first two offices remain in their original locations, 7125 W. Jefferson Avenue and 390 Union Boulevard; their primary service areas mirror Mile High Newspaper’s. The other three offices are located at Wadsworth & Bowles, C-470 & Kipling and C-470 & Lucent Blvd.
