Foundation is an organization that builds community-minded servant
leaders by entrusting students with recruiting qualified students,
raising scholarship funds and building goodwill among alumni and
students.
“Student Foundation members are recognized at Baylor as leaders
in the classroom and beyond,” Chandra Stemau, the Troy and Betty
Mays Director of Student Foundation, said.
“These students are the best and the brightest at Baylor and are
hand-selected to represent the university to prospective students,
alumni and the surrounding community.”
During Student Foundation’s nearly four decades on campus, the
organization has awarded $3,639,000 in scholarship money, helping
5,079 students. At their annual scholarship banquet in April,
$204,000 in scholarships was awarded to 102 recipients.
