I am totally surprised by Curt Dale’s column, which takes up a
quarter page, and yaps about nothing.

Stop beating a dead horse with a stick. Get over it – Clinton is
not in office anymore. Anyway, he had a slam dunk on Fox news in
that interview with Chris Wallace, who had that smirk on his
face.

You Republicans have always been fascinated with sex stories.
How much (effort) did you spend on Clinton’s case? You should spend
this effort, time and space on telling your social conservatives to
get out and vote. Instead, you are still talking about Clinton
eight years after he “did not have sexual relations with that
woman.”

For whatever good it’s worth, at least that was a man and woman
encounter. Republicans in Congress are after little boys. Seems
like the speaker of the House can’t recall anything either. I can’t
wait to read your column on this.

Back to lies, Bush has been telling lies since before troops
went to Iraq – the war won’t last longer than six months, Iraqis
will throw flowers at our feet, we are safer. What about the lies
that have been told to our troops over and over – you will serve a
one-year deployment? Troops on their way home from war stopped off
in Alaska and were given orders to return before getting home. Four
of those troops lost their lives last week.

Bush believes if you don’t die the first time he’ll send you
back for a second and, if necessary, a third time. How many times
has the commander in chief changed his orders for the troops? He
won’t change his course on the war because we are “on the right
track,” we “have a plan.” He didn’t have a plan when he went in and
still doesn’t have one.

So please, Curt Dale, use this space to tell people about the
issues of today.
