An error in our production process resulted in the publication
of the wrong lead sports page in the Feb. 23 issue of the Douglas
County News-Press. Page 19A should not have a repeat of the issue’s
front page story and also should have included sidebar stories and
photos of Ian Heinisch and Zeke Hofer, who both won individual
state wrestling titles for Ponderosa High School in last weekend’s
5A state tournament at the Pepsi Center in Denver. The News-Press
regrets this production error. The ommitted stories can be found
online under our “Sports” tab in the left navigation bar and will
also be included in our next print edition. Download a correct
version of the page
