Earle Gryde
Earle M. Gryde of Centennial died July 7 at the Heritage Club of
Greenwood Village at the age of 81.
She was born Jan. 12, 1924, in Charleston, S.C., to Fitzhugh Lee
and Valerie (Patterson) Massie. Mrs. Gryde had received her
master’s degree and had taught as an elementary teacher before
retirement.
She will be missed by her husband Stanley K. Gryde Sr. of
Centennial; her children Linda Weber and her husband, Tim, of
Memphis, Tenn., Stan Gryde and his wife, Cecilia, of Castle Rock
and Jeffrey Gryde of Costa Mesa, Calif.; and her grandchildren,
Ashley and Travis Gryde and Jonathan and Michael Weber.
The family received friends July 10, with the funeral service
July 11 at Cherry Creek Presbyterian Church, 10150 E. Belleview
Ave., Englewood.
A private family interment was Monday at Cedar Hill Cemetery,
Castle Rock.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Youth For Christ
Colorado, P.O. Box 4478, Englewood, CO 80155 in Mrs. Gryde’s
memory.
