Zen Brown, a 2005 graduate of Pomona High School, placed second Wednesday in the three-day CGA Junior Stroke Play Championships.
Brown was the leader after back-to-back rounds of 67 on the first two days at Aurora Hills Golf Course, but his round of 70 in the final round wasn’t good enough to hold off Riley Andrews. Andrews shot a round of 65 in the final round to win by four shots.
Andy St. Louis, a teammate of Brown’s at Pomona, finished in the middle of the pack with a three-day total of 217.
