Joseph Gallegos
Joseph I. Gallegos, 69, of Castle Rock died Oct. 9 at Julia
Temple in Englewood. Recitation of the Rosary was Oct. 14 at Pax
Christi Catholic Church in Highlands Ranch. The Rev. William
Vollmer officiated. Memorial Mass was Oct. 15 at Pax Christi
Catholic Church. The Rev. Larry Solan officiated.
Joseph Ismael Gallegos was born Aug. 26, 1935, in Las Vegas, the
son of John Pedro and Mary (Medina) Gallegos. On Oct. 4, 1960, he
married Darlene Evonne Fisher in Denver.
A retired contractor, he was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus
member. He was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Highlands
Ranch. He was known to have a sense of humor.
Mr. Gallegos is survived by his wife, Darlene; his children, Joe
Gallegos and his wife, Stephanie, of Castle Rock, Ron Gallegos and
his wife, Kris, of Littleton, Wendy Troup and her husband, Mike, of
Castle Rock, Julie Kimble and her husband, Troy, of Castle Rock and
Andy Gallegos and his wife, Jeannie, of Castle Rock; grandchildren
Amanda, Alaura, Michael, Bradley and Matthew; and numerous brothers
and sisters.
