Bush is a bully
As a so-called “security mom” I feel strongly in pointing out
that misleading the American people into a preemptive war,
alienating a large majority of our allies, not having a plan to win
peace, not being forthright with facts about the situation in Iraq
and not admitting to serious errors in judgements does not make me
feel safe.
John Kerry left no doubt in my mind after last Thursday’s debate
that he can bring a fresh start in Iraq as well as continue an
effective fight against the war on terror. He has an amazing
command of the facts. He understands the importance of our role in
the world and that we cannot have a “go it alone”
mentality.
This does not mean Kerry will ask permission of anyone to
protect America. It means he understands the importance of
diplomacy and using war as the absolute last resort.
As someone who has actually fought in a war, I respect his views
and trust his judgement.
So, I urge mothers everywhere, when thinking of their children
to seriously consider who they want representing America and the
free world – a strong, experienced, respectable commander-in-chief
who can clean up Bush’s mess or the neighborhood bully, George
Bush?
Vote Kerry.
