A Lone Tree man was shot and killed Wednesday morning in his
home.
Douglas County Sheriff’s deputies responded at 8:18 a.m. to a
911 call from a woman in the home near Lincoln Avenue and Yosemite
Street, said public information officer Deputy Cocha
Heyden.
Emergency medical personnel transported the man to Littleton
Adventist Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Sheriff’s office investigators are interviewing the woman who
made the 911 call. Heyden said investigators have a few other
interviews to perform before releasing more information.
The identities of the victim and the caller, and the address of
the shooting are not yet available.
