Castle Rock resident R. Michael Kruger was recognized April 8 by
the Denver area council, Boy Scouts of America for his dedication
and service to youth in the Denver area.
Kruger is one of 17 “Silver Beaver” award recipients. He was
chosen for this award from among 10,000 leaders across the
metropolitan area.
The Silver Beaver is the highest honor the local council can
give a volunteer.
The awards were presented at the council’s annual Volunteer
Recognition Dinner, which recognizes volunteers and celebrates the
successes of the scouting program.
