Carol Bailey
Carol Lee Bailey, 81, of Elizabeth, died Feb. 8 at her home. Her
funeral was Feb. 14 in Castle Rock, and interment was at the
Elizabeth Cemetery.
Born Dec. 25, 1922, in Sterling, she was the daughter of
Clarence and Carrie Welch. She was raised in Sterling and married
James W. Bailey Dec. 30, 1950. She was a member of the Order of
Eastern Star, Elbert County and enjoyed reading.
Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by daughter Jennifer Abeyta
Jan. 29, 2003, and three brothers.
She is survived by her husband of Elizabeth; children James
Bailey of Denver, Randy Bailey of Thornton and Julie Gibbon and her
husband, Bill, of Denver; sister Jane Quinn of Denver; four
grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson Funeral Home of Castle Rock made
arrangements.
