Meagan Dahlberg
Meagan Dahlberg of Castle Rock was the recipient of the
University of Northern Colorado’s student-athlete of the month for
April. Dahlberg, a freshman, plays golf.
Dahlberg won two of three tournaments she competed in during
April.
After finishing 16th at the Grand Canyon Invitational April 1,
Dahlberg won medalist honors at the UNC Bear Spring Invitational by
shooting a season-best 72 on the final day. She won by seven
strokes over her closest competition.
The next week, Dahlberg shot rounds of 77 and 78 to earn a
three-stroke victory at the Nebraska-Kearney Spring Invitational.
Through 10 rounds this spring, Dahlberg has a 79.1 scoring average,
which is second on the team.
