Castle Rock Police Department
Oct. 20
Castle Rock Police officers arrested a Castle Rock man for
felony menacing, criminal mischief and domestic violence after they
responded to a house in the 200 block of Cedar Avenue. The
reporting party told officers her husband started an argument over
the way she was cooking dinner. The following morning, she said he
“threatened to kill her and brandished a loaded handgun around the
residence,” the police report said. The woman also informed
officers her husband was growing marijuana plants in the residence
and is a habitual drug user. Officers seized two large marijuana
plants, 36 grams of processed marijuana and numerous drug
paraphernalia. The drugs taken from the residence are still under
investigation and a felony case filing is pending.
