June Jones
Private family services are planned for June Jones, 77, of
Castle Rock, who died Monday at home. There was
cremation.
Born June 4, 1924, in Park City, Utah, she was the daughter of
Guy F. and Sarah Myrtice (Bargeron) Christensen. She married Keith
Llewellyn Jones Dec. 13, 1942, in Salt Lake City.
Mrs. Jones worked as a secretary with the U.S. Bureau of
Reclamation for 10 years.
A homemaker, she enjoyed reading, sewing and knitting. She and
her husband moved to Castle Rock in 1978 from Lakewood where they
had lived for 23 years.
She was preceded in death by sister Carol Atkinson and brother
Rex Christensen.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband of Castle Rock; children
Terry K. Jones and his wife, Carol, of Centennial and Sandra
Lindholm and her husband, Ernie, of Lakewood; grandchildren Todd
Lindholm and his wife, Joleen, Sean Lindholm and his wife, Monique,
Jennifer Rosen and her husband, Jim, Wendy Jones and Melissa Jones;
and great-grandchildren Aurora Lindholm, Christian Lindholm, Kory
Lindholm and Donovan Lindholm.
